Face Shields For Frontline Healthcare Workers

— March of 2020 —

What started out as an experimental print back in March on a 3D printer I haven’t used since high school, quickly turned into a full on manufacturing line out of my parent’s garage. This included sourcing material such as plastic, elastic, packaging, etc... (and purchasing more printers)! The overwhelming amount of support I received from the local community as well as companies, friends, family and organizations willing to lend their time, resources as well as donating material was incredible. I truly could not have done this without all of you. And for that I am incredibly grateful. Together we manufactured and produced just over 2,000 shields shipped all over the United States. Each one individually assembled, wiped down, bagged and boxed up. It’s amazing to see what can happen when a community comes together. Thank you all again!

Enjoy the photos below documenting the whole process. I hope the smiles of our healthcare workers brings you as much joy as it did for me.
